DM Lab Corp Smart Lock: Security and Shared Revenue

The DM Labs Smart Lock is a device for bicycles and light electric vehicles that serves two purposes:

  • Premium Anti-Theft Security: Use the lock as a powerful theft deterrent, with features like GPS tracking, motion detection, and a siren—all accessible via the mobile app. This core function is always active.
  • Optional Data Revenue Sharing: You have the choice to opt-in to securely share your aggregated, anonymized mobility data. If you choose to share, you become a partner in the data economy and are rewarded with of the net revenue generated from the sales of that data, paid back to your digital wallet.

DM Lab’s business model is twofold: revenue from selling the smart lock device and revenue from selling the aggregated, privacy-protected data.

Ai Engine

  • Ingestion: Auth, device registry, rate limits, schema validation.
  • Consent/Privacy: Enforce opt-in; strip direct IDs; bucket by area/time; noise or min-group thresholds (e.g., k-anonymity ≥ 50 devices).
  • Stores: Raw events (short retention), aggregated facts (longer), feature store for AI models.
  • Rewards: Computes user share, accrues balance, triggers payouts.

Pairing, live map, lock/unlock, alert feed, consent toggle, wallet for crypto rewards.
